New Retail Park

The American real estate developer Mega Company will invest this year 130 million Euros to open an outlet retail park, to acquire more land and to start construction on a water treatment plant.
The retail park Mega Designers Outlets will be developed in two phases. The location of the park will be in the area of the Bucuresti-Pitesti highway and it will require an 80 million Euros investment.
The first stage of the project will consist of developing 16,000 square meters and it will be finalized this year. Upon completion, in 2009, the park will be built on 16 hectares and it will have a leaseable area of 38,600 square meters. The developer is not looking to sell the project and the average rent will be 25 Euros per square meter.
Mega Company developed 164,000 square meters of commercial and industrial areas. Most of them are still under the management of the developer.
