Mr. Aubouin is the research director and a founding member of The Orchid Group, an integrated marketing communications company. He brings to the team over 13 years of experience in research and marketing for commercial real estate developments. As the research director, Mr. Aubouin is responsible for conducting primary and secondary research on integrated marketing communications campaigns. His primary focus is to manage all research aspects and to integrate key targeted messages into the campaign.
Prior to forming The Orchid Group, Mr. Aubouin was the director of Marketing and Research for Madison Retail Group, a leading provider of retail leasing and tenant representation services in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan market. Madison’s clients included storefront owners, retail chains, institutional landlords, and real estate developers. While there, Mr. Aubouin oversaw marketing & research teams supporting 1.5 million square feet of retail and over 100 national, regional and local retailers. He created new industry standard “roll-out” strategies for retailers entering the Washington/Baltimore market based on target demographics and the current retail market landscape. Additionally, Mr. Aubouin held a position in marketing and research at CNM Associates, generating demographic studies, tenant site studies, comprehensive submarket reports, competition maps, and direct mail campaigns.
Currently, Mr. Aubouin uses his extensive experience in research and marketing to produce evidence-based integrated marketing communications campaigns. As the research director at The Orchid Group, he has worked on marketing campaigns for several mixed-use development and non-profit projects. Some current projects include, the Bell Tower Shops, Shops at Canal Place, and Central Park Town Center.
Ms. Choi is the creative director and a founding member of The Orchid Group, an integrated marketing communications company. As the creative director, Ms. Choi is responsible for visualizing, creating, refining, executing, and the follow-up of creative integrated marketing communications campaigns. Her primary focus is to manage all creative and marketing aspects of a campaign from start to finish.
Previously, she held a position as the Marketing Manager at Madison Retail Group and Roadside Development, commercial real estate and development firms based in Washington, D.C. Her experience includes media relations, creative development, integrated marketing campaigns, advertising, and events planning. She has worked on projects such as the Cityline at Tenley, the Shops at Canal Place, and Montgomery Promenade. Some award projects include, NAHB Pillars of the Industry, Mayor’s Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation, and AIA chapter Award.
With her background in fi ne arts and communications, Ms. Choi has been able to creatively infuse a synergistic approach to strategic communications campaigns. As the creative director of The Orchid Group, she has worked on marketing campaigns for several mixed-use development and non-profi t projects. Some current projects include, the Bell Tower Shops, Skyland Town Center, and Mega Designer Outlets.
Ms. Choi received a bachelor degree in Fine Arts from George Washington University and an MA in Marketing Communications from Johns Hopkins University.
